Scholarships aren’t just based on test scores.
There are plenty of departmental scholarships available—some are designed for new students, but lots of them are just for rising upperclassmen based on area of study. Check your major’s list of available scholarships as often as you can, and you’ll find plenty of opportunities to be rewarded for your commitment to your discipline. Once you are accepted to UM, apply for scholarships online by March 1st each academic year.
